MOS IS A LONDON-BASED MULTIDISCIPLINARY DESIGN, INSTALLATION AND BOTANICAL STUDIO STARTED IN 2020 BY SASHA GRIGORIK.

\

MOS uses natural materials to create contemporary botanical and floral installations, sets, concepts and experiences for brands, events and editorials in an effort to integrate nature intentfully into urban lifestyles and environments. A design-led approach is applied to every project, brief and conversation to showcase the powerful potential of nature to create innovative solutions and unexpected experiences.

MOS is first and foremost a botanical studio. It’s about exploring our relationship with nature. A multidisciplinary approach allows us to imagine and think outside of the traditional approaches to floristry. Inspiration often comes from art, culture, history, sculpture and projects become and are not limited to immersive event installations, photographic series or a simple ikebana arrangement.

Meet the Team

Hello πŸ‘‹πŸ»

I'm Sasha, aka MOS.

For those that don't know me, I’m originally from Toronto and moved to London 6 years ago. Like many creatives trying to find their footing, I bounced around from creative discipline to creative discipline. I studied Fashion Design at Parsons the New School for Design and came to London to complete my MA in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins in 2020. Whilst I loved everything art, culture and design related - neither of these two professions sat quite right. I discovered the art of flowers after I was gifted a course at the London Flower School. The rest is really history.

So here we are. I started MOS to explore our relationship with nature. It's about using multidisciplinary design and collaborating with creatives, brands and businesses to showcase the powerful potential of our planet's materials. I like to see that there are endless opportunities to use nature respectively that connects us back to our transient humanity.

On another note, I love food. If I wasn't doing MOS, I would most likely be a pastry chef or restaurant critic. So to sum it all up, I love to eat and I love flowers.

If you'd like to know more about me, or have a burning question about a particular flower, or just need a good restaurant recommendation, email me here.
